My name is Alison Avigayil Carmel Ramer. I am the descendent of Jewish, Quaker and Catholic spiritual entrepreneurs, mystics, artists and misfits. I was born on Munsee Lenape land (New York City), grew up in Duwamish territory (Seattle), studied Politics and Jewish Studies at Mount Holyoke College on Nonotuck land (South Hadley), and spent 15 years living and working in the Levant (Palestine & Israel) and Iraq, before returning to the west coast of Turtle Island (North America), where I live now.
I have lived and worked in crisis across cultures and continents working intensively with Indigenous communities in the Middle East and North Africa, India, South Africa, Europe, South America, the United States and Australia.
I help people and teams develop their spiritual, social and political work in the world, respond to change and crisis, build sustainable communities, organizations and social enterprises, as well as develop projects and programs.
I am a trained coach, and I have studied and practiced human, leadership and organizational development for the past twenty years. I am influenced by the work of many teacher which I have studied with in person or read their work intensively.
